Our Kind Dining® workshop taught by Higher Standards  at your community provides immediate skill building for your team members. As a result of this workshop, your core group of  staff will understand what knowledge and skills are required of them as you raise service standards in your dining program.

This workshop also  serves as an opportunity for your Train the Corporate Trainer (TCT) candidate to see the training as a learner. No license required.

9-Module Series-Workshop Taught on Site

One complete series of training is all nine modules. Each module of instruction runs approximately 60 minutes. Our most popular training format is the half-day option.  In this option:

  • We deliver the complete series over 3 half-days; requiring a (4-hour) time block per session.
  • Class size works best with at least 10 attendees per session, with a maximum of 20 to stay within time frames.
  • Modules 1 & 9 include a pre-and post-survey, respectively, requiring an additional 15 minutes.  One survey report included.

Delivery Options are available in the following formats. We are happy to customize to fit your staffs’ schedule.

  • Half-day Format (one complete series taught over 3 days)*
  • Full-Day Format (two complete series taught over 3 days)*
  • 2 Day Format (one complete series delivered over 2 days)*
Workbook (1 book per participant)*

Public Workshop Option, Open Enrollment

Our public workshops are designed to serve a broader community or regional area.  Staff who serve meals  from several different communities are invited to participate. This option allows a company to send a few servers at a time to be trained in our foundational information.  We recommend that at least 2 persons from a community attend so there is continuity and synergy as information is taken back to the community.

Each workshop begins the process to educate and train servers to improve hospitality and service in your community.

  • Our practical and experiential training develops personal and professional skill sets.
  • Class size is limited to 20 people.
  • 2 day format (one complete series delivered over 2 days)*
